Our verdict

What we would actually book

Santa Fe gives the average UK family the best value Disney experience full stop. You get every park benefit, an easy walk to the gates, and you save £300 to £500 that you can plough into Premier Access or a Princess lunch.

Sequoia Lodge is genuinely lovely and the lakeside setting is worth something. But it is not three to five hundred pounds better than Santa Fe for most families with kids under 10.

Frequently asked

Which Disney hotel is cheaper, Sequoia Lodge or Santa Fe?

Do both include park tickets and Extra Magic Time?

Yes, all on site Disney hotels include park tickets for the full stay and 30 minutes Extra Magic Time access to the park before public opening.
