Worth knowing

  • South coast resorts get an extra hour of sun vs the north in October
  • Loro Parque and Siam Park can be booked together for around £85 per adult
  • Costa Adeje supermarkets are 30 percent cheaper than resort shops

Watch out for

  • Friday and Saturday flights cost up to £300 more than mid-week
  • All-inclusive sounds cheaper but excursions and drinks at the beach still add up
