Disneyland Paris

The best Disney hotels for families

From the budget Cheyenne to the showpiece Disneyland Hotel, here is how the on-site hotels actually stack up for families.

Best value: Disney Hotel Cheyenne

Western-themed rooms that sleep four, a 15 minute walk or short shuttle to the parks, and the cheapest on-site option that still includes Magic Hours. Our default recommendation for first-time families.

Best for younger kids: Sequoia Lodge

Quieter forest setting, indoor pool with kiddie area, and a 10 minute walk to the parks. Loved by families with under-7s.

Best mid-range: Newport Bay Club

Recently refurbished nautical theme, large pool complex, and a free shuttle every few minutes. Often the best half-board option.

Worth skipping unless you really want the icon

  • Disneyland Hotel: stunning, but premium pricing for what is essentially a fancy gateway to the park
  • Hotel New York: lovely after the refurb but the Marvel theme is divisive

Off-park hidden gems

Explorers Hotel, Magic Circus and Vienna House Dream Castle all sit 10 minutes by free shuttle and undercut on-site rates by 30 to 50 percent. The trade off is no Magic Hours.
